REJECTED PAPERS!!

Next

If you haven't had a paper rejected, then you are either not submitting enough papers or, perhaps, you papers are lacking innovation. At least, that is my theory. For an academic, paper rejection is an occupational hazard.

The following papers were rejected by INCOSE's Systems Engineering Journal. The comments from the various referees were curiously mixed. Some thought the papers were "not up to his usual standard," or "not really appropriate." Others really liked them, finding them easy to read and interesting. The net result, however, was that the "nays" had it.

I, on the other hand, feel far from rejected. Indeed, I am beginning to view rejection by this particular Journal as a "badge of honour!" Arrogance on my part?

Perhaps. You will have to read them for yourself and make up your own mind. Accept? Or, Reject?
